We are a Nonprofit Global grassroots educational relief Organization, whose mission is to disrupt the barriers that attribute to the Educational Exclusion for Children and Adolescents. We also serve as the conduit to Educational Inclusion.
MCEI was founded in 2020 in Half Moon Bay, California, USA, to create a platform where people, businesses, and corporations can give back to underserved communities and populations in the way that best fits their values. We currently have one sister program in Nigeria (Million Children for Growth & Empowerment Initiative (MCGEI)) and are looking to expand to other countries.
MCEI was founded by Mohammed Umar in honor of his father Alhaji Umaru Multumbi who dedicated his life to providing educational supports and opportunities and well being of underprivileged children and adolescents in rural villages and township in Nigeria.
