Jambodi primary School has 180 students. All the students came from subsistence farmers and nomadic villages where there is no running water, electricity, clinics, or western educated population/parents
These students need help with writing materials, textbooks, shoes, and uniforms. They also need access to things on their school campus, like a generator, water pump, showers, internet, computers and feminine hygiene packs.
We recently reached our first goal of distributing 3000 English & Math notebooks, 1000 Erasers, 1000 sharpeners and 1000 pencils to 1000 primary school students in Kano State, Nigeria!! Our next goal for this school is to provide them with classroom materials like chalk boards, reading books and desks to the 70% of the school population (8780 students & teachers) without a desk.
At MCEI we believe that everyone, regardless of his/her economic or social status can help a student/child in need.
That is why we developed our relief programs to target Students, Teachers and Schools.
