Failure to honor Donor Intent as Clause for Refund

If the Sponsor requests in writing how they specifically wish their donation to be utilized (e.g., large library donations, boreholes, facilities, equipment, medical supplies, humanitarian supplies, scholarships, administrative costs, etc.), MCEI/MCGEI will honor their request and make use of their donation that is consistent with our agreed-upon goals.  A refund may be considered if MCEI/MCGEI fails to honor the written intent of the Sponsor.  

Violation of Gift Agreement 

For Donations exceeding $5000, the sponsor may request a  formal meeting and agreement to create a discernment plan to avoid any refund conflict.

Monetary donations

 Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your donation, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. On donations higher than $250, we ask that you file a request for return within 5 Business days. You can access this request for Donation Return by reaching out to us via email with the receipt of the purchase. 

Material Donations

We have the right to refuse any material donations sent to our office location. If items do not meet our standards we will inform you within 5 business days of receiving the package, we will mail you the returned item within 10 business days via ground transportation.   

Gifts 

 For our tiered sponsors who receive gifts following their donation. If you would like to return the item due to damage please contact us via MCIempower@gmail.com. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted under the following conditions, Books with obvious signs of use, any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Exchanges

We do offer exchanges for gifts that have obvious manufacturer errors. Request exchange must be made within 5 Business days after receiving the packages, after which such exchanges will not be honored. 

Shipping 

 You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company.
Next, contact your bank.
