This makes Nigeria a perfect candidate for MCEI's mission to eliminate and/or disrupt the barriers to educational inclusion.
Mrs. Mary Madu Hamman earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Education and English from the University of Maiduguri. She received her Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM) from Lagos State University. She also has a Postgraduate Degree (PGD) in Shipping and Port Administration from the Federal University of Technology Owerri,

In her civil career, Mrs. Madu Hamman was the Deputy Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), until her recent retirement in 2021 after serving 27 years years with the NIMASA. Prior to working at NIMASA, Mrs. Madu Hamman worked for the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST-GPO), Marina from 1987- 1993 as Postal Controller. She has also attended numerous Maritime courses in Nigeria and abroad, including Anatomy of Shipping from Cambridge University, UK
Mrs. Madu Hamman is a renowned Chartered Fellow and Female Representative in Council of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Emergency Crisis and Risk Management Institute of Nigeria and Deputy National Coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Women Business Luncheon (ANWBN). In addition, she is a Women Leader of the EYN Lagos District Church Council and Church Adviser of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN). Mrs. Madu Hamman enjoys engaging communities and their leaders to better their populations, particularly Children and Adolescents who will grow up to be the leaders and parents of tomorrow in these communities. Mrs. Mary Madu Hamman is excited to be part of the Million Children Empowerment Initiative.
Professor Aisha Indo Mohammed is from the Jama'are Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Professor Aisha Indo Mohammed is from the Jama'are Local Government Area of Bauchi State. A Nigerian by Nationality, Prof. Aisha completed her undergraduate education, Masters and Doctoral (PhD) in Educational Psychology at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Prof. Aisha has also completed a number of programs and certifications including an e-learning course.
As for her career and professional experience, Prof. Aisha has worked with Ahmadu Bello University since 1990 as a lecturer, teaching and supervising both undergraduates and postgraduate students. During her tenure Prof. Aisha has served as the adviser of more than 90 students at a Masters level, and more than 25 current and graduated doctoral students. She serves as internal examiner for departmental, faculty and beyond, as well as an external examiner at different universities.
Prof. Aisha has held multiple administrative positions at a Faculty and University levels including Head of Section, Assistant Faculty Examination Officer, Faculty Examination Officer, Postgraduate Coordinator, and Head of Educational Psychology and Counselling (HOD). Prof. Aisha has so far published over 40 Journal Articles in “Peer Reviewed Journal” and official proceedings, and wrote 2 textbooks in her field of Specialty.
Prof. Aisha followed in the footsteps of her late father Mohammed Jidda Jama’are, who was a prominent school teacher in his early career and an administrator. A role model worthy of emulation, Prof. Aisha is passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of under-privileged children and adolescents through active participation in community reach-out initiatives, honor societies, mentoring to educational excellence and vocational skills by serving as a Member and Board of Trustee in different NGOs organizations in Nigeria. Her hobbies are Reading, Writing, Travelling and navigating around her computer.
Mohammed Inuwa Atta attended Bayero University, Kano Nigeria and graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry. He also earned an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), both from Bayero University, Kano Nigeria.

Mohammed started his career as an assistant lecturer with Borno College of Basic Studies, Maiduguri Nigeria and became Head of the Department of Chemistry. He then began his banking career with the Continental Merchant Bank where he worked in corporate banking and treasury, and later moved to the African International Bank, where he worked in customer service, retail banking and risk management. In 2003 he transferred his services to Nigerian Mobile Telecommunication Limited as a Senior Manager, Sales and Marketing and then as Senior Manager, Human Resources in charge of staff welfare and compensation. He has attended various courses in Banking and Finance, Management, Marketing and Human Resources.
Mohammed is retired and currently serves on the Board of the Starfield Childrens Academy and Hadiza Imam Women Centre (HIWC). Since retiring, he has focused his energy on community work and social mobilization. Mohammed has been recently nominated and has offered to serve on the Board of Trustees as Board Member and active Treasurer to drive the successful launching of Million Children Empowerment and Growth Initiative (MCGEI) in Nigeria to achieve its objectives.
Dr. Ahmed Usman earned B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering and M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water) from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D. (Soil and Water Engineering) from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Nigeria.

Dr. Ahmed is currently the Senior Lecturer (Soil and Water Engineering) and Head of the Department of the Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technology, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Nigeria. Prior to his current position, Dr. Ahmed served as the State Coordinator, World Bank Assisted, Second National Fadama Development Project, Bauchi State, Nigeria, and as the Director of Engineering, Bauchi State Agricultural Development Program (BSADP), among many other positions in the field of his expertise.
Dr. Ahmed is no stranger to serving communities at the state and local government level. In his his early career, he served as the Representative to Bauchi State, Nigeria at the National Select Technical Committee on Soil Erosion and Flood Control under the National Ecological Funds, a Member of the Federal Government/World Bank/States-Joint Team on the Internal Project Completion Review (ICR) of the Multi-States Agricultural Development Project (MSADP II), Bauchi State, Nigeria, and State Team Leader, Project Internal Mid-Term Implementation Review (MTR) of the Second National Fadama Development Project (Fadama II), Bauchi State, Nigeria.
